Most American Credit Union debit cards that have the Plus logo on it will not have an atm fee charged if used at a Japanese 7-Eleven. My friend who went to Japan before Covid lockdowns informed me of this. In the US, American Credit Union debit cards will not charge atm fees if used at another credit union that has those same logos. Can you please confirm that? I will be traveling to Japan in December 2022.

On 2021-03-19 I was charged 220 yen with my foreign VISA debit card.
