Yes, no problem – we always try and keep bags in our view when they’re on the bus as well, so if they’re going to put it at the front, sit as close as you can, tell them you’ll pay for a seat for your bag if it won’t go on the floor etc etc, it won’t breakt the bank, but will be a bit more comfortable! I am planning my first trip to Nicaragua as a solo female and will be there in May.
