Sfax, Route Menzel Chaker branch ATM, 12 July 2026, French Visa: withdrew 300 TND, debited 311.90 TND = 11.90 TND surcharge. Nothing was displayed on the ATM screen before confirming – the fee only shows on the bank statement afterwards. Max per withdrawal on that machine was 300 TND. So as of mid-2026 Al Baraka is no longer fee-free; only TSB may still be. With my French bank’s own 5.79 EUR fee on top, the 300 TND cost 98.61 EUR, an effective rate of 3.04 TND/EUR versus 3.37 at a bank counter the same week.
